PRESENT PERFECT

• Used to discuss actions that began or just happened in the past and still continue in the present.
• Present simple of the verb TO HAVE (have, has) + main verb participle.
• The negative is formed with the negative particle "not" between the auxiliary and main verb
• The interrogative is constructed with the auxiliary at the beginning of the sentence, followed by the subject and main verb

PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS

• Is formed with the auxiliary verb "to be" in form of "present perfect" (have / has been), plus the gerund (-ing finished form) the main verb
